Jan has over 25 years of domestic and international business experience including extensive work in human resources, business leadership and consulting. Jan first joined the EHS team as a client serving on her company's executive steering committee, where she experienced first-hand the challenges of capturing business improvements as well as the success of implementing business applications that drive bottom-line growth.
Prior to joining EHS, Jan was Sr. Vice President Human Resources with Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a Senior Global Partner with Mercer Human Resource Consulting (domestic and international), Vice President Human Resources with Allied Worldwide and previously held management positions with Norfolk Southern Corporation and PepsiCo.
With experience in corporate and consulting human resources, Jan has a deep insight into sales effectiveness, healthcare, retirement, incentive/stock compensation strategies, programs and providers. She led large-scope projects for two major private equity firms making domestic and international acquisitions. Jan understands the corporate and investor requirements for managing significant areas of business cost as well as the "demand" side of those costs.
Jan has been an international speaker on global HR strategies, safe effectiveness and mergers and acquisitions. She serves on the board for the Boys and Girls Club, as well as the Whitley County Community Foundation.
Education
Jan earned her Masters in Human Resources from Indiana University and a B.S. in Business from Concordia University. She holds a lifetime achievement certification from WorldatWork and a certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
